The Manhattan Park District Aspires to Create Community Partnerships Built on Tradition
Our mission at the Park District is to provide quality recreation and education programs, facilities, parks and open space that meet the leisure needs and improve the quality of life for residents of Manhattan.  Facilities will be available to all residents and the interests and needs of all age groups will be addressed.

  There are three (3) four year terms and One (1) two year unexpired term for the April 4, 2017 consolidated election. 

Nominating petitions will be available starting September 20, 2016 at the Manhattan Park District Recreation Center,

located at 397 S. State Street, Manhattan, Illinois. 

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

The filing period for nominating petitions begins December 12, 2016 and ends at 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 2016.
