Mission Statement

Our mission at the Park District is to provide quality recreation and education programs, facilities, parks and open space that meet the leisure needs and improve the quality of life for residents of Manhattan. Facilities will be available to all residents and the interests and needs of all age groups will be addressed.

NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR
MANHATTAN PARK DISTRICT
BOARD OF COMMISSION
Please be advised that a vacancy has been
declared for a commissioner of the Manhattan
Park District Board of Commissioners.
A commissioner must be a resident of the
Manhattan Park District and a registered voter.
Anyone interested should contact
Julie Popp at the Manhattan Park District Office,
located at 205 Gustafson Street, Manhattan, IL.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTIFICATION
The Manhattan Park District will be conducting a Public Hearing to receive public comments on an application for an IDNR Open Space and
Land Development (OSLAD) Grant
to be used for the proposed
Central Park Recreational Development Project,
at the HomeStar Bank Meeting Room,
located at 25640 S. Gougar Road, Manhattan, IL
The Manhattan Park District will conduct the Public Hearing on June 6, 2013 at 5:30 pm.

Notice for Public Hearing for Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the
Manhattan Park District to be held
June 6, 2013, at 6:30 pm.,
at the HomeStar Bank Meeting Room, located at 25640 S. Gougar Road, Manhattan, IL 60442.
Budget and Appropriation Ordinance shall be available for public inspection at the
Manhattan Park District Program Center located at 397 State Street, Manhattan, Illinois.
